Did someone say Friday the 13th?

Gas buddy directed us to a gas station in Abilene, Texas that was $3.15 a gallon just off the freeway and there was a Walmart perfect! We need yogurt creamer, and M&Ms💕 it all seemed perfect, especially when we saw the Brahms ice cream store over the hood of this guy‘s truck,(for those of you not familiar with Brahms ice cream, It is the best but it’s only in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and may be a handful of othet state states.) then we noticed the sign that they were out of unleaded gas🥲 we went in anyways and got our three items in a store that we don’t think anyone looked happy glad to be out and over to Brahms John got a sundae I didn’t feel like ice cream I got a fry. It was OK. GasBuddy leads us to another gas station for $3.49 it was supposed to be $3.19 and everywhere else in Abilene is 3.19. we’re in a motorhome at 7 miles a gallon a few blocks we find the $3.15  gas, perfect! Back on the road on the 20 east and a new book we finished the widow and started

Did you know that John Grisham wrote the book that is about Christmas with the Kranks? It is hilarious twice as funny as the movie the descriptions are belly, laughing, funny and it’s only a 4 hour read, who would’ve thunk it😂

This picture is after the fact, but the highway went small and we’re going over a bridge and they had the cement barriers on either side of the lanes with honestly maybe 6 inches each side. We are chugging along  in the right lane. There’s a pickup truck in front of us and on my left-hand side here comes a Home Depot work truck trying to pass. Is this crazy insane so I speed up so he can’t pass me but I’m getting close to the pick up truck. I wanted to move over to the middle so he couldn’t pass me, but he was already on my bumper and I couldn’t do anything we knew he couldn’t make it… then God stepped in and honestly at the last second the barrier on the right hand side went away and I was able to move over, it was a real Jesus moment🙏🏻

We are here at Santa on the farm (yes they need a name change) there is no Santa but yes, there is a farm and they have deer of all things, llamas goats, chickens, and a very cute watch dog!

It is beautiful. We got out our lawn chairs and we both had a beer.😳

We had just settled down to revisit the days adventures and the phone call came. One of our renters pipe under the house broke… water was gushing everywhere he says for over an hour😳$$$. Fortunately he is able to turn the water off. John started calling. The office didn’t answer the Plumber didn’t answer. We have a very dear friend named Steve ( we won’t mention his last name for fear that maybe he’ll start getting phone calls)  and he answered.(when he sees John’s number he won’t anymore.) he has agreed to go out tomorrow and fix the pipe bless his heart.💕

We figured we better get to bed before anything else happens. Come on Saturday, March 14.👏🏻
