Drive hiking West to East

Hi Ya’ll, It’s Friday, April 16th.  We pulled our kayaks out of the Rio Grande and stayed at Cottonwood campground.. it was incredibly HOT... Getting some grandma practice a little baby girl Couldn’t get comfortable and cried most of the night 🥲

John trying to fall into Tuft Canyon.

It’s only seven in the morning it was so cool and beautiful...I’m actually starting to be one of those rock formation people.

Burro Mesa Pouroff... John laid on the ground and took this picture, good thing there was no water running now!

Hiking to the Mule ears well at least to the viewpoint!  We are driving from the west side of big Bend national Park over to the East side and stopping at all of the turnouts and viewpoints and short hikes, one mile and under.

Just so you know... I am here too!

Panther Junction visitor center, All the visitor centers are outside.  Masks required in the campground store only five people allowed at a time.  It is our finding that Texas is very cautious those are vicious rumors about their lack of concern with Covid.

There’s a terrible fire in the middle of the park at Chisos basin.  The whole area is closed.

Leaving the Visitors Center and heading down to Rio grande Village to our campsite,

Here is our campsite number 19 no generator zone!!!! The wind is picking up!!! Got to make this quick... signing off to attend Leah and Keith’s wedding! Congratulations Sitler family💕
