2 popsicles in a tin can

30 degrees outside 31 inside🥶 I just sent the blog from yesterday last night. It was too chilly. I couldn’t stop chattering and my fingers shaking to do the blog.

We have the little heater and our oven on making cinnamon rolls and this morning doesn’t feel as bad as last night. 

We’re staying at the Ponderosa Ranch tonight and our host is a fighter jet pilot whose hobby is fixing motorhomes. Pray that he can fix ours🙏🏻


We made it to The World of  Coca-Cola”

Coca-Cola has been Olympics sponsor since 1928 and over the years the countries have made bottles representing their culture. 


The vault with the secret formula that only two people know. 


The experience was great. They did fabulous job advertising their product.

Anything you can imagine has a Coke logo on it.

Very interactive, lots of quizzes and hands-on games!

And of course, the taste section with over 100 different flavors. 


And of course, the whole reason that they exist to buy all of their products  and trinkets.  we did get a souvenir Christmas ornament🎄

We are at Ponderosa Ranch n Register  GA, a little warmer tonight. John had birthday spaghetti dinner and apple turnover with ice cream for dessert.

We are staying here tomorrow.( wow 2 nights in one place) John has ordered the part for the heater. We’ll have it delivered to Megan‘s and be warm in the summer. 😬

 Day One…first, it has been yearsss since writing a blog and using this site,  Already there is a pencil icon in my way of typing, what is up with that!!! Does it really matter

 Really, I am not going to change it or try and fix it, that would require sending another link and confusing everyone especially me!  So the name of the Blog was suppose to be “Heads Carolina, tails California and then you have a title for each post.  Well I wondered where the “one mile at a time aka you never know when you’ll breakdown”came from.  Apparently I opened up an existing blog and just added to it,  well, that title could be any of our trips so it is staying!  Now I am really going to bed, we plan on leaving around 8 am tomorrow Monday March 9.  I downloaded the APP so I hope that helps, I see I am having difficulty with picture placement…by the end of August I should have it down! Did someone say Friday the 13th?

​where to start…  Gas buddy directed us to a gas station in Abilene, Texas that was $3.15 a gallon just off the freeway and there was a Walmart perfect! We need yogurt creamer, and M&Ms💕 it all seemed perfect, especially when we saw the Brahms ice cream store over the hood of this guy‘s truck,(for those of you not familiar with Brahms ice cream, It is the best but it’s only in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and may be a handful of othet state states.) then we noticed the sign that they were out of unleaded gas🥲 we went in anyways and got our three items in a store that we don’t think anyone looked happy glad to be out and over to Brahms John got a sundae I didn’t feel like ice cream I got a fry. It was OK. GasBuddy leads us to another gas station for $3.49 it was supposed to be $3.19 and everywhere else in Abilene is 3.19. we’re in a motorhome at 7 miles a gallon a few blocks we find the $3.15  gas, perfect!
