Bison not Buffalo

Our first stop was Clyde North Carolina to the bison Creek Ranch.  We quickly learned that these are Bison they also raised alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits dogs, cattle, and miniature horses.

we watched the feeding of the bison in the morning, size matters.. a tractor filled each trough with grain and bread. Much like the Fitzmaurice’s 13 kids after that last taco! Buffalo meat is very good for you low cholesterol and calories, but even John was squimish to buy some!

Beautiful cabins for rent as well as the train cabooses that are converted into living spaces for vacation rentals.

The owners were terrific, we had access to the store, even when it was closed restroom, coffee, and an extensive train Museum. Trinity (as in Holy) Bison Ranch ✝️🦬 God is good, no low bridges and our bikes didn’t fall off coming out that low driveway! John was able to fix the AC before the outter banks trip and the refrigerator door didn’t fall off until we got back ti Durham😳the roof only leaked a little (serious rain back here). Now we just need to fix our step and get batteries for our keyless entry… what? Just a typical Fitz motorhome trip🤪
