Taking a rest day
Wednesday, July 29 and we went on a short 3 1/2 mile walk around Beaver Pond and Lake Saint Mary. I’m no longer calling them hikes as. We’re trying to stay around a couple miles and lots of rests so we can enjoy being outdoors without getting too tired.

We rode our bikes to the trail head and saw original Ranger station/house built in 1913.
Walking the trail was like walking through a bouquet of flowers so many different kinds. We did have our flower guide, but it was much easier just to say the red ones, the yellow ones, the purple ones, the white ones.😁

To make sure John got plenty of rest we stopped along the way, each time playing one round of backgammon.

A quiet lazy afternoon I made some peanut butter cookies and spaghetti for dinner😋
Tomorrow, an official tour of glacier Park from West to East👏🏻
So many gorgeous pictures. And the flowers .. perfect time to hiking Glacier Park
