Tractor Museum

​for Miles and Miles and Miles we see billboards advertising wall drug with 5 cent  coffee and free ice water so when we got to wall South Dakota, we went to the town of Wall. 

The place was happening. We did not get coffee or ice water. We just wanted to get out of town. The store is like a mall. It’s 15 stores in one and they sell everything.. but glad we stopped and saw now we know more than we want to know about wall drug!

We spent the night in Kimball, South Dakota at a tractor museum, six humongous barn filled with tractors as early as 1800’s . I went South Dakota or nothing but Farm wants so I guess when all these tractors get old, they just build another museum. We must’ve seen three or four tractor museums.


Well, the closer we get to California the higher, the gas! 


We have paid as little as $3.09in as high as $4.00. But I guess we shouldn’t complain. Looks like gas is over five dollars again in San Diego.. 


And we do have to stop for groceries now and then place the Nails oasis where you can get your buffalo meat and shop in a museum. The bonus, a mailbox , been hanging on these postcards for the grandkids for a few days now. .  

What the great trip so far God  has been good and there has been nothing we can’t fix or that has been troublesome.

    So, are you wanting to be farmers now so John can play on the big toys? Wide open land and all that.

    His sister has about four pieces of very large farm equipment +3 little get around Kabota things .. 8 acres is too many! We don’t want anything we have to take care of clean, repair or register other than our cars😂

Does it really matter

 Really, I am not going to change it or try and fix it, that would require sending another link and confusing everyone especially me!  So the name of the Blog was suppose to be “Heads Carolina, tails California and then you have a title for each post.  Well I wondered where the “one mile at a time aka you never know when you’ll breakdown”came from.  Apparently I opened up an existing blog and just added to it,  well, that title could be any of our trips so it is staying!  Now I am really going to bed, we plan on leaving around 8 am tomorrow Monday March 9.  I downloaded the APP so I hope that helps, I see I am having difficulty with picture placement…by the end of August I should have it down! Did someone say Friday the 13th?

​where to start…  Gas buddy directed us to a gas station in Abilene, Texas that was $3.15 a gallon just off the freeway and there was a Walmart perfect! We need yogurt creamer, and M&Ms💕 it all seemed perfect, especially when we saw the Brahms ice cream store over the hood of this guy‘s truck,(for those of you not familiar with Brahms ice cream, It is the best but it’s only in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and may be a handful of othet state states.) then we noticed the sign that they were out of unleaded gas🥲 we went in anyways and got our three items in a store that we don’t think anyone looked happy glad to be out and over to Brahms John got a sundae I didn’t feel like ice cream I got a fry. It was OK. GasBuddy leads us to another gas station for $3.49 it was supposed to be $3.19 and everywhere else in Abilene is 3.19. we’re in a motorhome at 7 miles a gallon a few blocks we find the $3.15  gas, perfect!
